Mesilou Atamis Homestay is located in a hilly area with a great view of Mt.Kinabalu. Communities are Dusun Islamic,also known as hilly people.   Normally we will do Bamboo Traditional Music and Gongs play, sumazau dance etc.

Our trademark is we are the highest & coldest homestay village in Malaysia. 99% of the community are Dusun tribe Islamic. Dusun are the biggest indigenous people in Sabah. We can be reached by any types of transport. 2 hours driving from Kota Kinabalu International Airport & 10 minutes driving from nearest town, which is Kundasang Town.  We are unique in terms of climate/ temperature- cold with friendly local people. Most of people here are doing farming- highland vegetables.  Our most unique activity is Natural Way Fish Fishing “mamaralau”. We catch the fish by using cotton cord & earth worm only. Normally we will do Catch & Release.  Other activities are hiking, cycling and mountain climbing as well as pitcher plants trip.

We are located very close to the highest mountain in Malaysia. Just at the bottom of the mountain. Natural attractions include:

We are practising all muslim value & behaviour.  Communities are all muslim, thus no alcohol will be served.  In terms of cultural value, we still apply it together with Islamic understanding.
